An Indian man, who is currently in police custody for a bounced cheque case, has been asked to repay dues to the complainant by next month.

An ROP official said that the accused, M Mohan, was arrested by officers at his residence in Muttrah on the basis of a complaint filed at Ruwi police station a few days ago.

Requesting anonymity, the complainant said that the accused had sub-let him a flat in Greater Muttrah and taken RO500 as caution deposit, on the condition that it would be returned when he moves out.
